I began getting a little nervous, thinking I shouldn't be here! Maybe I should get out of here..!! Where were all the people ? Where were the Carnies? The rides, tents and games were all set up.... The concession stands and the ticket booths looked all ready to go.... Hmmm..... Totally Vacant! Then I started getting really spooked. It was like the old movie, "OMEGA MAN" (with Charlton Heston) , or..... " I AM LEGEND" (with Will Smith). It was like I was the last person left, kinda' feeling! Then, I told myself, "Calm down....Everything's Okay...." "I'm here too early....of course....It's only 10:30 A.M..!! It's a beautiful Saturday morning, and this is the NIAGARA FALLS VOLUNTEER FIREMAN CARNIVAL". Then, I felt better.... It's just that I've never been alone at an empty carnival before.... HAVE YOU? I found myself breaking in to my favourite circus/carnival/zoo song. I WENT TO THE ANIMAL FAIR THE BIRDS AND THE BEASTS WERE THERE THE BIG BABOON BY THE LIGHT OF THE MOON WAS COMBING HIS AUBURN HAIR YOU OUGHT TO HAVE SEEN THE MONK THE MONKEY SHE GOT DRUNK, AND JUMPED ON THE ELEPHANT'S TRUNK THE ELEPHANT SNEEZED AND FELL ON HIS KNEES AND WHAT BECAME OF THE MONK THE MONK THE MONK I hope you are singing along with me in the video, (now that you know the tune & words). Whenever you find yourself in a scary situation.... Sing this Song....!!! It'll give you courage! We want to dedicate this video to all the kids who can't make it to the Carnival this summer.... | THE WHOLE THING WAS SURREAL!! Kinda' EERIE..! It was just Me, Myself and I, at the carnival. I was just curious.... I didn't want any trouble..... I timidly called out, "Is any body here?" It was totally silent. Nobody answered. There was not another living soul in sight. |
