There are buttons on your roof to control music, fans, and even a "PANIC BUTTON"... (in case you have an emergency or panic attack). So, you can call down to the operators, and they'll get right back to you.... That's for real! I know.... Because... Um... I hit the emergency button by mistake when I tried to turn down the music!! Oops! Oh yeah.... There's no answering machine on this big puppy!! They got RIGHT back to me immediately! That explains the slight confusion on the video clip, which you'll hear. That's nothin' new though!!!! There's confusion on every video shoot I do! That's the fun of Vlogging!!!! Everything's live... and spontaneous.... and in real time! You never know what's going to happen. Each gondola seats 6 people, and your ride is about 10 minutes.... It really seems longer than that.... I think we must have gone around at least 4 or 5 times!! It is well worth the $9.99 ($5.99 children), plus tax, I think! We seldom pay full price, though! When we're planning to shoot a video.... We go online and check if there are any discount coupons available.... You can do the same and you'll have all kinds of discount coupons, for almost any attraction in NIAGARA FALLS! So, check out the videos of the SKYWHEEL, and then go on it I give it a 10 out of 10. Next trip will be at night when we start our night shooting. As we cruise up CLIFTON HILL, we see KING KONG up near the top. If you are looking for a place to park, turn left there into that driveway. (If you are approaching from the top of the hill, turn right). There, you'll be able to park your vehicle for $10.00 all day! This is where we parked to ride into the sky on THE SKYWHEEL. |
| Bring your camera! Each glass-enclosed Gondola is climate-controlled, so you can ride all year round. If you don't like heights or the heat, don't worry.... We took the ride on AUGUST 5th.... a scorching, humid summer day.... And it was like riding in a big, smooth, air-conditioned CADILLAC! I forgot I was 53 meters up in the air. It moves slowly and quietly.... Giving you a floating sensation. |
