| As your VIRTUAL TOUR VIDEOGRAPHER, I'm back, to take you on the ultimate exciting adventure of a lifetime! We'll be going inside and behind THE HORSESHOE FALLS!! This promises to be one of the most interesting & entertaining treks, you'll ever experience! |
The HORSESHOE FALLS spans about 2200 feet across.
This trip will take you ONE THIRD of the way in towards the middle.
You'll be taking an elevator down 150 feet to access the tunnels
(which were carved out of the natural bedrock around the year 1889).
When you reach the bottom you'll be 13 stories down looking up at the top of
the Falls....
But first,
You'll explore the CATARACT PORTAL....And then the GREAT FALLS PORTAL.....
Before landing on the observation decks.
This is truly, the most amazing up-close & personal view
of the powerful Horseshoe Falls, you'll ever see....

A word of caution...
STAY BEHIND THE RAILINGS AT ALL TIMES!!
(unless you are a qualified daredevil),

Otherwise you'll be doing the
WHIRLPOOL AERO CAR SIGHTSEEING TOUR a little ahead of schedule, and
you'll be considerably more waterlogged!
I'm going to " go out on a limb " and attempt a little math here, which I didn't
do in my information packed commentary! 6,000,000 (6 million) cubic
feet of water slams over the HORSESHOE FALLS every minute, so if I'm not
mistaken, that's around 45,000,000 (45 million) gallons a minute, right?
If you actually go on this tour, you are going to feel the vibration of that, see it
right in front of your face, feel it, smell it, and actually breath some
of it in....just don't swallow any! It's fresh water though. Unlike the KILLER
WHALE water at MARINELAND which tastes very salty....the water from
the FALLS tastes a lot better, and doesn't leave a burning sensation in your
throat....just ask me , I've tasted them all, including THE ATLANTIC
OCEAN, and many rivers.

It's just so humongous and noisy that it's absolutely breathtaking! NOW you're
really part of the TRUE BEAUTY AND WONDER OF NIAGARA FALLS.
In our guided tour clip we go down the elevator from the Table Rock main floor
, right at the brink of the CANADIAN SIDE OF THE HORSESHOE
FALLS. We travel through the tunnels 150ft. under-ground. We visit the
CATARACT PORTAL first , then continue on deeper in behind the FALLS to the
GREAT FALLS PORTAL. Through these PORTALS, the FALLS is almost touchable,
and it's the closest you could ever get to the millions of gallons of
eternally cascading water. We then head out onto the outside observation
decks. There are stairs here to the decks and the JOURNEY BEHIND THE
FALLS is no longer wheelchair accessible, but of course it has been up to this
point. The lower deck is not accessible in the winter due to the build
up of ice. From the upper and lower observation decks you will also view the
MAID OF THE MIST ,BOAT TOUR right into the basin of the Falls. The
basin is as deep as the Falls is high, and you can see the faces of the passengers
on the boats as they dangerously creep right up to the base of
the waterfalls. From here you get an amazing look at THE AMERICAN FALLS
AND THE BRIDAL VEIL FALLS, and the RAINBOW BRIDGE spanning the
lower NIAGARA RIVER RAPIDS, from CANADA to the UNITED STATES. IT'S
TRULY a fantastic sight...a look inside and out, of one of the most popular
destinations in the world, right here, just below THE CITY OF THRILLS.
